This is an invitation —
to raise our vibrations together in joy & play, in connection & celebration.
No cost, no donation asked. No need to feel shy. This is not a performance, or a live stream.
The Details…
Bring —
blanket or whatever you are comfortable sitting on such as a pillow or a cushion
some water or whatever you wish to drink
a playful sense of adventure
any instrument you wish to bring, rattles are very portable and sound great
a willingness to offer your ears & your support
a song to share, if you wish
Leave at Home —
self judgment, your inner critic, your inner diva, booze, boom box, microphone
While this gathering is informal, arrive the start time, if possible. We will open the gathering & set the space for sharing around 8:15ish. If you need to arrive later, you are still very welcome to join. There is no set time for when we’ll be complete & you may leave whenever you wish, although we will do a closing & blessing so if you can stay for that, then do!
What is a Sacred Song?
Any song that is connected to your heart, your truth, your spirit.
This can include a spiritual song, a ceremony song, a medicine song, a folk song, a rock ‘n’ roll ballad, a hymn, a love song, a lullaby, a song from your childhood, a song you made up, an improvised song, any kind of song that comes from your heart & that you wish to give voice to.
RSVPlease….
Feel free to bring along someone who would love this, or someone who needs this. Or if you’d like me to invite them directly, please connect us.
if you’re not sure if you’re coming, or if you decide to come at the last moment and have not RSVPed, no worries! Glad you will be there.
Here’s a playlist for Inspiration
Perhaps we will sing a version of some of these. Many of these songs are traditional, & they change & evolve. This is part of their magic & power, so spontaneity & playfulness are encouraged!
